Shirley Ann (Eaton) Bowling

Shirley Ann Bowling 73 of Ashland Kentucky was welcomed into the gates of heaven on Sunday June 12, 2022 leaving from the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

The Ashland native was born April 15, 1949, a daughter of the late Edith Thompson Eaton and the late Charles Eaton. Shirley loved her family, enjoyed the outdoors, read, watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons Donnie , Jamie McDowell, a sister; Susan Eaton Brannon, and a brother; Robert Eaton .

She is survived by a son, David  Bowling, a brother; Charley Eaton and his wife Kathy,  a grand daughter; Karlie and Ally McDowell, 2 great grand daughters, 4 nieces; Cynthia Gonzalez, Davina Arthur, Serena Bailey, Lorie Holbrook, a nephew; Rafael Gonzalez and his fiancé Sarah Wertman, a close great niece; Cassie Porter, her best friend on over 60 years Anita Meyers and a host of family and friends.

Keeping with family wishes she will be cremated a Celebration of life and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 3 pm at the Ashland Assembly of God at 525 Blackburn Ave. Ashland, Kentucky with Rev Ron Fultz officiating. Flowers may be sent or Memorial donations in her honor should be made to the family to help with final expenses.

The family has entrusted her care to the Taylor Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
