Rodney Collins

Rodney Collins 55 of Ironton, Ohio gained his wings to heaven and was reunited with his mom and dad on Monday May 9, 2022 leaving from the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland Kentucky with his sisters at his side.

The Welch West Virginia native was born December 9, 1966, a son of the late Carol Jean Stanley and the late Doc Short. Rodney loved his family. He enjoyed Country and Blue Grass music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Anita Collins and a brother; Donald Collins.

He is survived by his daughter; Brittany Naylor and her boyfriend Dennis Mahaffey, his fiancé; Rebecca Cooper, her children; Kanisha Noble and her boyfriend Charlie Jenkins, her son; Johnathon Noble, 3 sisters; Mary Minton and her husband Gary, Charlene Collins and her husband David, Debbie Daugherty and her husband Robert, a grandson; Lucas Naylor and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday May 12, 2022 in the Ironton City Mission Church with Pastor Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross Family Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Services are under the direction of the Taylor Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
