Randy Massie Obituary

Randy Massie 63 of Waterford,  Michigan formerly of Symmes Valley and Ironton areas of Ohio was called home to heaven on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at his home in Michigan. 


The Ironton native was born January 3, 1959, a son of the late Alberta Massie Arbaugh and the late Curtis Arbaugh. Randy was a retired Pontiac Car Manufacture employee with over 30 years of service. He was a graduate of Symmes Valley High School. He enjoyed fishing, had the ritual of Sunday Brown Beans and Corn bread.  He was an active member of the Moose Lodge #1165 of Holly Michigan. He loved the Fish fries, going to annual Halloween parties, Bowling, watching Football , Cooking out on the grill, and enjoy a cold drink after work. But most of all he loved his family. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Curt Arbaugh and Marty Massie and a sister Ruth Arbaugh .


He is survived by 7 brothers and sisters; Larry Massie and his wife Marie of Florida, Rick Arbaugh and his wife Jessie of Arabia, Ohio, Troy Arbaugh and his wife Lori of Huntington, West Virginia, Megellan Arbaugh of Ironton, Ohio , Cathy Rice of Pedro, Ohio, Vickie Cooper and her husband Ray of Coal Grove, Ohio, Kim Arbaugh- Baumgardner  and her spouse Teresa of Ironton, Ohio. He also leaves his former wife of over 15 years; Star McCreary of Winterville, Georgia, a niece which he raised; Dreama Hedge , his special dog; Wrinkles and a host of family and friends. 


A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday November 12, 2022 at the Waterloo Community Center in Waterloo, Ohio. Where family and friends are invited to eat and fellowship in memory of Randy.


The Passing occurred out of state and the family has consulted the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel for guidance in funeral arrangements.
