Paul Cook Obituary

Paul David Cook; 68, of Ironton, Ohio and formerly the Barboursville WV VA Nursing Home was reunited with his parents in heaven on Friday November 29, 2019 leaving from the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, Ohio after a courageous battle with COPD.

The Williamson West Virginia native was born December 22, 1950, a son of the late Dora Lee Gearhart and the late Paul F. Cook Sr. Paul was a United States Army Veteran and worked as a laborer on the Riverbanks.

He is survived by a daughter, a cousin; Bonnie Gilman of Chattaroy, WV and a host of family and friends.

Keeping with his wishes he will be cremated and his ashes be returned to the great state of West Virginia. Memorial donations should be directed to your favorite veterans charity this holiday season.

His family has entrusted his care to the Taylor-Brown family of the Brown Funeral Chapel.
