Jack Woods Jr.

Jack Woods Jr. 82, of Rush, Kentucky gained his wings and was reunited with his son in heaven on July 27, 2021 leaving from the Hospice Community Center in Ashland Kentucky.

The Kentucky native was born April 19, 1939, a son of the late Goldie Newsome and the late Jack Woods Sr. He was a United States Army Veteran . Jack was a HVAC Electrician and loved to fish, gardening & the simple things in life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; Jack Woods Jr.

He is survived by his wife; Rosanne Woods, 4 daughters; Diane Giefreda, Brenda Bowers, Sherry Blair & Kimberly Young as well as a son Donald Gash. Two brothers John Woods and his wife Pat and Clifford Woods & a sister Shirley Sturgle. 8 grandchildren; Jack Woods 4th, Amy Woods, Channing & Aja Blair, Danielle & Emily Bowers, Brenton & Hayleigh Young. Also special friends; Kenny Felding, Johnny Miller, Charlie Caldwell and countless family and friends.

A Memorial Service with be held on Monday at 4:00 pm on August 9, 2021 at the Tree of Life Ministries Church located at 6021 Harris Road; Ashland, Kentucky 41102 with Pastor Mike Tucker Officiating and Military honors will be presented by The Kenova American Legion Post 93.  Keeping with his wishes he was cremated.

His wife has entrusted his services to the Taylor-Brown Family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
