Glenda Smith, 72, of Ironton, Ohio was called Home to Heaven on Saturday, June 27, 2020; leaving from the King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
The Ashland native was born May 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Zola Hazel Tackett Cartmell and the late Aden Cartmell . She was a retired STNA from the former Bryant's Nursing Home in Ironton, Ohio. She was a former Past Senior Regent of the Women Of The Moose Chapter 1847 of Ironton, a proud student of Coal Grove High School, loved to craft and to play Euchre.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Norman Vernon Smith and a sister; Mary Ervin.
Glenda leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons; Lee Craft and his wife Jennifer, Vernon Craft and his wife Becky, 7 grandchildren; Kyle Lee Craft of Delaware, Ohio, Brent and Teresa Ervin of Ironton, Ohio, Natasha and Braiden Dillow of Ashland, Kentucky, Tiffany and Corey Tibbs of South Point, Ohio, Emilee and Astin Grubb-Butler of Melbourn, Kentucky. Hannah and John Holston of Ironton, Ohio. Karliegh Bryant of Ironton, Ohio., 10 great grandchildren, a niece; Margo Ervin, who Glenda thought of as a daughter, Special friends; Cathy Knipp, Bob Wolf and a host of family and friends.

Her children have entrusted their mothers care to the Taylor-Brown family of the Brown Funeral Chapel.
