Deborah Malone Obituary

Deborah S. Malone 62 of Kitts Hill, Ohio entered the gates to heaven on Tuesday September 19, 2023 Leaving from her home with her family at her side.

            She was born December 16, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of the late JoAnn Freeman Spille and George Spille.  She was formerly employed in Customer Service and Store management in several positions. She was employed by Clarks Marathon Park Ave. in Ironton, Transit Café, Save-A-Lot, Stroble BP, Skeetos Pizza of Hecla, and Close to Home of Ironton. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and routing for her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and was often seen baking for friends and neighbors her Zucchini and Banana Breads. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ironton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister; Lois Pyles, her father and mother in law: George McClellan Malone and Barbara Ruth Malone, a brother in law; Timothy Malone.

She is survived by her husband; Stewart “Bud” Malone of 33 years, whom she married on June 30, 1990,  two sons; Kenny Malone at home, David Malone and his wife Stephanie of Ironton, a daughter; Leslie Harris of South Point,  3 brothers; John Spille of Mt. Carmel, Ohio, Henry Spille of Mason, Ohio, Mike Spille and his wife Mary of Cincinnati, Ohio, 5 sisters; Barb Fletcher and her husband Buddy of Georgia, Yenny Schaefer, Helen Lanter and her husband Jerry, Mary Barber, Beth Holler and her husband Andrew all  of Cincinnati, Ohio, 5 grandchildren; Lakin, Preston, Aubrey, Jackson, Aaron, a great grandson: Zander her brother in law; Gary Malone, 2 sisters in law; Brenda Myers of Southpoint, Ohio, Sherry Payton and her husband Darren of Aurora, Indiana, a special friend; Gail Ollerdise of Cincinnati, Ohio and a host of family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held 12:30 pm on Saturday September 23, 2023  in the  Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Ironton, Ohio with Father Morris Officiating. Burial will follow in the Aid Cemetery.  It was her wishes that friends and family dress casually at her services.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday .

She began her journey home by planning with the Taylor Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
