James Elza Terry

James Elza Terry; 32 of Kitts Hill gained his wings into heaven on Friday June 22, 2018 at the Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus Ohio after a lifelong battle of heart problems.

He was born June 2, 1986 a son of Gladys Stapleton at home and the late Vermal Terry. James attended Rock Hill Schools, was a 2005 Graduate of Rock Hill High School, a Graduate of Ashland Community and Technical College, and had once attended Marshall University where he studied Accounting. James was formerly employed by Pick N Save in Ironton. He was a Herd fan but he loved his Tennessee Volunteers (Vols). He enjoyed fishing, hunting, digging Ginseng and playing Golf.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Edna Massie and Sonny Sanders and his paternal grandparents; Margaret Terry and Mason Terry.

In addition to his mom, he is survived by his step father; Terry Stapleton, a  brother; Charlie Terry and a host of family and friends.

Friends may call from 6:00 until 9:00 pm on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Chapel and Ironton First Christian Church located at 2427 S. 11th Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638. Memorial donations should be made to his mother to help with final expenses.

The parents have entrusted their sons care to Brown Funeral Chapel of Ironton.
