Eugene G. Brown

Licensed Funeral Director & Owner

Eugene G. Brown is a licensed funeral director, embalmer, and the owner of Brown Funeral Chapel which he began in 2005 after leaving Phillips Funeral Homes, when he saw the need of a more affordable option to Tri-State families.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Gene is a graduate of Man High School in Man, WV. He is a graduate of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Logan, West Virginia. He graduated with An Associate in Mortuary Science and a Bachelor's of Mortuary Science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Prior to moving to Ironton and establishing Brown Funeral Chapel, Gene was employed by funeral establishments in Martinsburg, WV and Northern, Virginia. Thus he has served and continues to serve families of the Tri State Area. 

He is married and lives in Burlington, Ohio and has 6 dogs. 

Otis Jenkins

1942-2017

Otis Jenkins is a resident of Lawrence County, Ohio. During his work history he was employed by a local vault company.  He has several children and is married to Shirley Jenkins.

Otis passed away on September 8, 2017 after a brief illness. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

Phyllis Jenkins Wilson is a native of Ironton, Ohio, graduate of Rock Hill High Shcool. She is married to Lloyd Wilson and have 2 Children and numerous grandchildren. She and her husband are active in the  City Mission Church where Jeff Cremeans is the Pastor.

Lloyd Wilson is a Native of Ironton, United States Veteran, graduate of Ironton High School where he still remains a fan of the local high school sports and former employee the old Ironton Hospital and  of the Bill Baker Funeral Home in Ironton, He is married to Phyllis Wilson and have 2 Children and numerous grandchildren. He and his wife are active in the  City Mission Church where Jeff Cremeans is the Pastor.
