Vernon Earl Fraley; 76 of Franklin Furnace, Ohio passed from this life on Wednesday August 25, 2021 leaving from the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Hospice Division.
The Lawrence County native was born January 13, 1945 in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Lennie Ferguson and the late Britton Fraley. He was a Machinist but his great love was always playing music. He played in many different bands over the years and in his later years kept playing by joining the music site sing snap where he posted many videos of his amazing guitar skills. He was a former member of the Eagles and Moose lodges. He attended Rock Hill High School and obtained his GED.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Fraley and a brother; Britton Fraley.
He is survived by a daughter; Tammy (Mark) Miller, a son; Britton Fraley, four sisters; Carol Loncosky, Sharon (Jim) Wilberding , Sheila (Arlene)Horn, Janet Fraley , Grandson Jordan Miller, close family friends Anna (Dave) Jenkins and Nancy (John) Howell and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday August 30, 2021 in the Haverhill Cemetery Located on Ohio Furnace Rd/ Old US 52 in Haverhill, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating.
