Shirley Jean (Hardy) Smith

Shirley Jean Smith 75 of Minford, formerly of Zanesville on Thursday January 19, 2023 leaving from her home in Minford, Ohio.

 The Zanesville native was born Feb. 2, 1947, a daughter of the late Reuben Hardy and the Late Mary Gladman. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Hardy.

Shirley attended Anchor Church in Zanesville and Portsmouth Apostolic Church, she enjoyed the Dollar Tree, Reading Books, Doing Word searches, but most of all spending time with family.

She is survived by:  4 children; Sherry Compton and her husband Shannon, Dennis Smith and his wife Susan, Cindy Smith and her boyfriend Dennis DePue, April Frederick and her husband Tony,  12 grandchildren, 6 great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

In Zanesville - Graveside Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday January 24, 2023 at the St. Paul Sonora Cemetery 1675 Bald Hill Road in Zanesville Ohio with Rev. Randy Schintzius officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Cemetery.

In Portsmouth – Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Monday January 23, 2023 at the Portsmouth Apostolic Church at 1209 Young Street; Portsmouth, Ohio 456622 with Rev. Randy Schintzius officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to services.
