Serena Carol (Lewis) Bailey

Serena Carol Bailey, 59, of Ironton, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, KY, entered into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, leaving from her home in Ironton. 

She was born May 26, 1964, a daughter of the late Fred Lewis and the late Susan Brannon. Serena loved the Lord and her family. She was a loving, caring and giving person. She was a 1982 graduate of Paul Blazer High School. She attended Berea College where she obtained an associate degree in which started her Counseling Career. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, watching her cooking shows and spending time with family. 

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother Kenneth Charles and a very special Aunt, Shirley Bowling.

Those left to mourn her passing are her two children; Erica(Jimmy) Rogers and Justin Bailey, both of Ashland, Ky. Three sisters; Davina(Earl) Arthur of Worthington, Ky, Cindy Gonzalez and Lorie Holbrook, both of Ashland, Ky. 
    She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Abigail Wilson, Chloe Keaton, Cheyenne Rogers, Andy Rogers, Noah Bailey, Elijah Bailey and Addyson Pinson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her very much. A special friend Bill Griger.

Keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date that will be announced on her Facebook page.
    In lieu of flowers, she would be honored if you would make a donation to any pet rescue of your choosing.

The family is honorably served by the Taylor-Brown Family of the Brown Funeral Chapel of Burlington, Ohio.
