Paul William Ackison

     Paul William "Bill" Ackison 50 of Ironton, Ohio gained his wings to heaven this morning January 15, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

     The Ironton native was born October 24, 1969, a son of the late Everly Kay Adams and the late Paul Thomas Ackison. Bill as he was know to many by, was a graduate of Rock Hill High School that loved to play Drums, Guitar and Shoot. Bill was a Gunsmith who had a great sense of humor. He also loved to camp and played in several bands during his life. He loved scary horror movies and was a loving father and brother. 

     He leaves to mourn his passing 2 daughters; Emily Malphrus and Rachel Ackison, the mother of his children; Kim Ackison, a sister; Molly Ackison Jenkins and her husband Jerry and a host of family and friends. 

      It was Bills request to be cremated and memorial donations in his memory be made to the Lawrence United Methodist Church of Pedro, Ohio.  Bill begin his journey home by planning with the Taylor Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel to ensure his final wishes were honored.
