Obituary
Oscar B. Baumgardner (Ben) 82 of Ironton, was reunited with his wife in heaven on Jan. 26, 2022 leaving from the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Mc Dermott, Ohio.
Ben was born June 25, 1939, a son of the late Barbara Oswald Baumgardner and the late Gordon Ash Baumgardner. He was a member of the Sciotoville Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Carolyn Baumgardner (2008) and a brother; David.
He is survived by 4 children: Teresa Baumgardner and her spouse Kim Arbaugh of Ironton, Barb Picklesimer and her husband Richard of Franklin Furnace, Ed Baumgardner and his wife Paula of Ironton, BW Baumgardner and his wife Christina of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren, a sister in law Sherry Baumgardner and a host of family and friends.
Due to weather conditions the funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday Feb. 11, 2022 in the Sciotoville Christian Church located at 5540 3rd Street; Portsmouth, Ohio 45662 with Rev. Art Marcum Officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at Noon on Saturday Feb. 12, 2022 in the Haverhill Cemetery.
