Orval Eugene Muyan Jr.

Orval Munyan, Jr., 52, of Ironton, Ohio gained his Wings to Heaven on December 14, 2019 at King's Daughters Medical Center after a heart attack.

The Ironton native was born February 12, 1967, a son of the late Orval Munyan, Sr. and the late Martha Holbrook Munyan. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was a former Quartermaster; Assistant Scout Master; and the Group Leader for the Boy Scouts Troop 106. Orval also enjoyed drawing and watching wrestling. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Earl Munyan, Jr. and two sisters; Markie and Eva Munyan, 

Survivors to mourn his passing are a daughter, Heather (Richard) Russell; two sons, Orval Munyan, III, Ryan Munyan; three sisters, Brenda (Tim) Pedigo, Martha Munyan Lawson, Myrtle Munyan; two brothers, Joe and Gary Munyan; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Russell, Savannah Bruce; five special friends, Susan Moore, Lee Russell, James Bruce, Neil and Charlie Williams; and a host of family and friends. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at a family members home at 1521 S Fifth Street, Ironton, Ohio, 45638. Keeping with the family's wishes he was cremated. Memorial donations should be made to help the with final expenses. This should be done through calling the funeral chapel; a Go Fund Me account , or contacting the family directly. 

The children have entrusted their Dad's care to the Taylor-Brown family of the Brown Funeral Chapel.
