Mettie Ann (Wilson) Martin

Mettie Ann Martin 77 of Ironton was reunited with her husband in Heaven on Sunday evening February 13, 2022 leaving from the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth Ohio.

        She was born July 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Lloyd Wilson and the late Lenora Collins Wilson. Met as she was affectionately known to many as was a Home Health Aid for Res Care and the Lawrence County Community Action. She was a member of the graduating class of 1963 of Ironton High School and cherished her Ironton Fighting Tigers.

        In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Martin (2002), a brother; Robert Wilson, 2 sisters; Betty Wilson, Linda Wilson Brown, a nephew; Steven Wilson and a niece; Patricia Brown.

        She is survived by her brother; Lloyd Wilson Jr. and his wife Phyllis, a sister; Janet Skaggs, several nephews and nieces among them Michael Wilson and his wife Christina, several great nieces and nephews; among them Audra Wilson, Jayce Wilson, Brandon Horner and a host of family and friends.

        Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday February 18, 2022 at the Ironton City Mission Church with church Pastor Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the church.

        Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm  in the Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, Ohio with Rev. Cremeans.
