Corbit Leonard Spurlock

Corbit Spurlock 79 of Huntington WV entered the gates of heaven today April 1, 2022, leaving from his home in Huntington.

     The Cabell county native was born August 31, 1942, a son of the late John Spurlock and the late Lori Perry Spurlock. Mr. Spurlock loved to fish, hunt, dirt track race and attend Celebration Church in Huntington WV. But most of all he loved his family.

     He is survived by his wife; Linda Spurlock, 3 sons;; Blake Blackwelder and his wife Danielle,, Jacob Blackwelder and his wife Kelilah, Larry Spurlock and his wife Renee,, a daughter; Ludi Spurlock and hundreds of other children he has fathered and mentored amoung them were Jeremey Williams, Gary Abbott, Johnny Benson and many more. He also leaves 5 grandchildren; Olivia, Alex Hurley, Brittany Spurlock,Chasity Rucker, Brandon Shepard 12 great grandchildren; Dakota, Kennon, Addilyn, Cameron, Isaac, Lori Blackwelder, McKenzie Dyer, Tristin and Madalynn Staley, Jeremiah Spurlock, Eli and Zaydon Rucker and a host of family and friends.

     Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday April 9, 2022 at the Celebration Church at 610 19th Street West; Huntington, WV 25704 with Rev. Steve Wayne officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Cemetery at Beech Fork.

     Friends may call from 6:00 pm till 8:00 on Friday April 8, 2022 at the Church
