Brian Bryant, 53, of Ironton, Ohio entered the gates of Heaven and was reunited with his parents on Thursday, September 30, 2021, leaving from King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky with his family at his side.
The Ironton, Ohio native was born March 2, 1968, a son of the late William Ray Bryant and Genevieve M. Webb Bryant. Brian was employed by the Coal Grove Water Department; loved camping; and riding his side-by-side. He was a former member of the Ironton VFW and the Ironton Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his biological mother, Judy Webb Carey; and two fathers- in-law, Sonny Avery and Lura White.
He is survived by his loving wife, at home, Lisa Bryant; whom he married on January 5, 2006. Five children; one son, Bryan Ray Bryant (Burgundy Brown ) of Coal Grove, Ohio; two daughters, Misty Bryant( Adam Stapleton) of Coal Grove, Ohio, Brianna Bryant (Austin Hensley) of South Point, Ohio; step son, Michael Holtzapfel III (Alayna Senter) of Lima ,Ohio; step daughter, Keely Holtzapfel (Nick Christian) of Ironton, Ohio; three sisters, Jody Carey Sands (Josh) of Ironton, Ohio, Jenny Lynn Carey of Coal Grove, Ohio, and MaryBeth Carey (Kim Belcher) of Cincinnati, Ohio. He also leaves eight grandchildren; mother-in-law, Carol Sue Avery; sister-in-law, Marjorie Carol McKee; brother-in-law, Larry White; a host of family and friends.
In keeping with Brian's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service may be held at a later date. Memorial donations should be made to the family to help with final expenses.
The family has entrusted his care to the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
