Betty Lou Pruitt Miller 79, of Kitts Hill was met at the gates of glory by her husband William Joe Miller and she was welcomed into heaven. She left this earthly world on Friday May 20, 2022, leaving from Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland Kentucky with her family at her side
The Lawrence County native was born January 30, 1943, a daughter of the late Bessie Hutchinson Pruitt and the late William Henry Pruitt. Betty attended Rock Hill Schools, loved to sing for the Lord, was an outstanding Cook and a loving Mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Joe Miller in 2016 and 3 sisters; Mary Anson, Diane Sparks and Nancy Bowman.
She is survived by 5 Sons and their spouses; Joey Miller and his wife Judy, Jeff Miller, Kenny Miller, Rick Miller and his wife Jennifer, Joe Joe Miller and her former daughter in law Rebecca Miller, a brother; Troy Pruitt, 4 sisters; Jo Ann Jiles and her husband Harold, Edna Brown, Penny Jiles, Sherry Jiles and her husband Steven, 8 grandchildren, Matt, Danny, Kenneth and Maddex Miller, Brittney Henry, Lasha Hicks, Josh Keating, Allen Combs, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Tuesday May 24, 2022, in the Lick Creek Independent Baptist Church at 634 Co. Rd 15; South Point, Ohio 45680 with Rev Jesse Sizemore officiating with special singing by Carolyn Sizemore and Mike Markel. She will be laid to rest next to her husband after the services in the Hecla Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1:00 pm at the Church on Tuesday.
Her family has entrusted her care to the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
