Obituary
Baron Dean “Dutch” Helms 65 of South Shore, Kentucky entered the gates to glory on Tuesday August 22, 2023, leaving from the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born May 21, 1958, a son of the late Robert Lawrence Helms and the late Helen Pauline Cantrell Helms. Dutch as he was known to many as was the “Ham Bone” King and love to sing. He enjoyed fishing and loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Janice Blevins.
Those left behind to mourn his passing are a son: Barry Helms, four brothers: Bobby, William, Bernie and Brian Helms. He also leaves two Sisters: Sharon Spears asnd Brenda Daniels and a host of family and friends.
Keeping with his family’s wishes, he will be cremated.
The family has entrusted his care to the Taylor Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
