Sharon Kay Thompson 65, of Ironton, Ohio made her journey home on Saturday May 5, 2018, leaving from the Ironton Campus of St. Marys Hospital.
The Lima, Ohio native was born September 20, 1952, a daughter of the late Thelma Horner and the late Roger Thompson. She was a graduate of Green High School. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, Aunt and dear friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Heather Thompson, a sister; Debra Keller, and two brothers; Gary Thompson and Jeff Munion.
She is survived by 2 grandchildren; Kali Thompson, Brodee Howell, two brothers; Monte Thompson, George Munion, two nieces; Marissa Allen, Cheyenne Mace, a nephew; Casey Mace and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday May 10, 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Ironton with Pastor Eric Barnes officiating. Sharon will be laid to rest following the service in the Haverhill Cemetery in Franklin Furnace Ohio.
