Marsha Lynn McDowell

Marsha Lynn McDowell; 49 of Kenova, WV. went to meet Jesus on Saturday November 16, 2018 leaving from Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

The Columbus native was born July 17, 1969, a daughter of Doris Medley Skeens and the late Odell Skeens. Marsha loved Animal Planet, Twizzlers candy but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mary Medley, and her paternal grandparents; Clarence and Tiny Joe Skeens.

She leaves to mourn her passing, 3 children; Anthony Wayne Skeens and his fiancé Karlie, Courtney Marie Ewing and her husband Chris, Savannah Noel McDowell, father of her children James McDowell,  2 brothers; Rick Skeens, Phillip and his wife Rebecca Skeens, 3 grandchildren, her maternal grandfather; Eugene Medley and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Ceremony will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 5:00 pm in The Intersection  located at 311 17th Street; Ashland, Kentucky 41101 with Pastor David Amos and her brother Brother Rick Skeens officiating.

The family her entrusted her care to Brown Funeral Chapel of Ironton.
