Kara Marie Walden Mays; 82 of Ironton, Ohio gained her wings to heaven on September 11, 2018 leaving from the former Jo Lins Nursing Home in Ironton

The South Point native was born March 25, 1936 a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Mckee and the Late Lawrence Walden. She was a childrens Care Taker, Loved to Quilt and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Clyde Mays and two daughters; Tammie Crisp and Stella Lynch.

Those left to cherish her memory are 3 sons; Donnie, Tony, Clyde Mays, a daughter; Kay Curry, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday September 17, 2018 in the Chapel of the Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, Ohio.

Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of services at the Chapel.
