Delbert Fannin

Delbert Fannin, 64 of Ironton, Ohio gained his wings to heaven on Monday October 1, 2018 leaving from the Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky with his family at his side after a courageous battle with Cancer.

He was born September 9, 1954 in Grayson, Kentucky,  a son of the late  Imogene Wheeler Fannin and the late Felty Edward Fannin. He held many positions of his lifetime but most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many in our community.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by a son; Hibbert Edgar Fannin, 6 brothers; Charles, James,, Richard, Mathew Fannin, Oscar Wheeler, 7 sisters; Hallie Stewart, Velvie Ann Fannin Mahan, Lori Melton, Martha Stewart, Vada O’Bryan, Susan Fannin, Lulu Jordan, a set of Twin siblings and a set of Triplets. .

He is survived by his wife at home; Beverly Foreman, a son; Delbert Fannin II, two daughters; Jewel Fannin, Roseanne Fannin, 4 brothers; Elbert, Henry,  Andrew, Delmar Fannin, 7 Sisters; Mary Frye, Jena Gamblin, Pamela Kidd, Tamela Thornsberry, Shirley Rowland, Brenda Fannin Blyth, Pearl Christian, 5 Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 13 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jason Plummer officiating.  Memorial donations should be made directly to the funeral chapel to help Delberts wife with final expenses.

Family and friends may call from 1:oo until time of services at Brown Funeral Chapel.
