Deborah Hankins Obituary

Deborah Going Hankins, 70, of Ashland, KY passed away on Tuesday morning, November 20, 2018 in the Ashland Community Hospice Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Romalda Whitesel Going. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dr. L. Milton Hankins and two step-children, Emily Elizabeth Favero of New Mexico and Adam Lloyd Hankins of Virginia. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and one great grandson; also several nieces and nephews and their families who adored their “Aunt Deb.” At Deborah’s request, there will be no visitation or memorial services. At a later date we will honor her request for a celebration of her life. We are so pleased that the final arrangements for Deborah and her family’s care have been placed in the hands of Brown Funeral Home in Ironton, Ohio. Friends may make contributions in Deborah’s memory to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, KY 41106 or to Brown Funeral Home in Ironton, Ohio.
