Danny Elswick

     Danny Elswick; 60 of Ironton, Ohio was met at the gates of heaven by his Mom and Dad on Thursday November 21, 2019 leaving from the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky with his loving family at his side.

      The Ironton native was born June 30, 1959, a son of the late Ruth Wilson Elswick and the late Paul Eugene Elswick. Danny was a Roofer. He also enjoyed buying, selling and detailing cars, He also enjoyed playing Bingo and working in his yard.

     He is survived by his Wife of 14 years, Cheryl Turvey, 4 daughters; Krystal Elswick and her companion James Reaper, Chandra Van Horn and her husband Chris, Shawna Dee Elswick, Kelli Jenkins and her companion Nick Addair, 2 sons; Albert (AJ) Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, 3 brothers; Paul Eddie Elswick and his wife Lisa, Steven Elswick ( whom he thought of as his best friend) and his wife Rhonda, Paul Loar and his wife Monica, 2 sisters; Judy Miller and her husband Joseph, Melissa Pemberton, 12 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. 

     Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday November 25, 2019 in the sanctuary of the City Mission Church with Rev. Shane Hanshaw officiating. Danny will be laid to rest following the service next to his Mom and Dad in the Hecla Cemetery.

     Friends may call one hour prior to Services. Family Calling Hours will begin at 11:00 am.

       His family has entrusted his care to the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
