Betty Wilson

Betty Wilson; 76,  of Ironton, Ohio, entered the gates of heaven on Thursday October 3, 2019 leaving from the our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky with her family at her side.

The Lawrence County native was born March 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Lenora Wilson. Bea as she was known to all as, was a graduate of Ironton High School and loved to work in her flower garden and yard. She attended church at the 10th Street Tabernacle, Ironton City Mission and First Christian Baptist Church. she enjoyed listening to Bill Gairher and loved her Lord and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Wilson, a sister; Linda Brown, and a brother in law; Ralph Martin.

She is survived by her son; Steven Ray Wilson, a brother; Lloyd Wilson and his wife Phyllis, 2 sisters; Janet Skaggs, Mettie Martin, a grandson; Fernando Estaban Bringas-Vasquez Wilson and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday October 10, 2019 in the City Mission Church with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating.

Friends may call from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday October 9, 2019 at the Church. Memorial donations should be directed to the family to help with final expenses.

Her family has entrusted her care to her friends the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
